Students focused on wildlife conservation, animal care, and environmental awareness in early May as a break from studying and preparing for finals.

Through hands-on activities and encounters with ambassador animals, students learned about how animals are cared for in zoo environments, the importance of protecting wildlife and natural habitats, and ways communities can connect with and conserve wild places.

The program encouraged students to engage with wildlife education in an interactive and meaningful setting while supporting the mission of inspiring care and conservation for animals and the environment.

Faculty and staff interested in engaging with residential programs for the next academic year or learning more about our Living Learning Communities are encouraged to reach out to Kara Corlett, Associate Director of Academic Initiatives and LLCs.
