As we begin a new academic year, faculty and staff are invited to join us at the Living Learning Communities Welcome Reception. The reception will be hosted on Thursday, August 27 from 5 - 6 pm in the Seymour Union Ballroom.
This gathering brings together new LLC residents, their families, faculty, staff, and campus partners to help students feel welcomed, connected, and supported as they start their Brockport journey.
Please join the Residential Life and Learning Communities staff to introduce yourself to students before classes begin, share your enthusiasm for their success, and help create a strong sense of belonging from day one.
Whether you’re affiliated with a Living Learning Community, teach first-year students, advise student organizations, work in a student-facing role, or simply want to help welcome our newest Golden Eagles, we’d love to see you there!
Join us in extending a warm Brockport welcome and demonstrating the collaborative spirit that makes our campus community unique.
If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our 12 Living Learning Communities, please reach out to Kara Corlett, Associate Director of Academic Initiatives in Residential Life/Learning Communities
