This award recognizes Brockport faculty and staff who promote or contribute to a culture of using free or low-cost academic resources and knowledge sharing. Students in Dr. Olmstead’s literacy classes contributed a variety of literacy activity summaries for inclusion in the work that will be openly available for teachers throughout New York State. In the future, this model may be used as a template for other handbooks highlighting different kinds of literacy such as family literacy, media literacy, etc. This award is sponsored by Drake Memorial Library and the Friends of Drake Library (FODL). Awardees received award certificate and gift cards during the Library Award Luncheon on May 7.
