APA Certificate

Instructions

The APA @ Brockport Certificates are a collaboration between Drake Memorial Library and the Academic Success Center Writing Tutoring. The goal of this course is to prepare you to find the appropriate answers on how to use APA Style properly. While this course in itself will not make you an APA expert, it will teach you the basics of formatting your paper, creating a references list, and using in-text citations. The module contains videos and links to the APA Style Guidelines.

This course consists of 2 different certificates. You professor will tell you if you need the APA @ Brockport or Advanced APA @ Brockport certificate. Each certificate contains the three modules that each end with a quiz. The quiz for each module must be passed with a score of 100 before the next module will become available. After passing each quiz, come back to the course home page to access the next module.

In order to complete the certificate, you must complete three modules. Each module ends with a summary quiz. You must pass each quiz with 100% for the next module to become available.

Upon successful completion of the first three modules, you will be presented with a PDF certificate for APA @ Brockport. At that point you can continue to the final three modules for the Advanced APA @ Brockport certificate.

Questions about these quizzes can be directed to Dr. Logan Rath (lrath@brockport.edu).
