Brockport was well represented by several presentations at the SUNY Conference on Instruction and Technology Conference (CIT) held in Oneonta from May 20-23.

Brockport presentations and posters included:

  • Nicole Baker (Drake Library) and Mary Jo Orzech (Drake Library) presented poster on “Faculty Perspectives on OER’s Evolving Role: The Open Education and Affordability Intersection”.
  • Brigette Meskell (Drake Library) and Nicole Baker (Drake Library), presented on “Scaling New Heights: An Interactive Model of Bloom’s Taxonomy to Boost Student Learning Outcomes in Artificial Intelligence”.
  • Ann Giralico Pearlman (Journalism and Social Media) and Jie Zhang (Education and Human Development) presented on “Fostering education sustainability across countries through Collaborative Online International Education (COIL)”.
  • Sarah Saputo (Biochemistry) and Mary Jo Orzech (Drake Library), presented on “Using Open Pedagogy Assignments in Bioinformatics”.
  • Ning Yu (Computing Science, Brockport), W. Li (Farmingdale), Adam Rich (Biology, Brockport), S. Zhang (Oneonta), Hung, J (Farmingdale), G. Begamy (Cobleskill) presented panel session on “Applying AI-Empowered Interactive Education Across Disciplines in the Era of Evolving Technologies”.
