Reference services through Drake Memorial Library will be available over break and shutdown, excluding holidays. The 24/7 chat service will always be available. Please refer your students to the Ask a Librarian page as needed.
Chat services are answered by Drake Library’s reference librarians during our open reference hours over break:
- 10 am - 4 pm Monday - Thursday
- 10 am - 1 pm on Friday
When the library is closed, chat is monitored by trained library staff in a global academic library cooperative who are equipped to answer any questions.
Students can also request research appointments with our reference librarians if assistance with scholarship and research is needed.
