Located on the ground level of the library’s third (west) tower, adjacent to the Allen Loop, the new entrance provides an accessible point of entry to our patrons. This addition supports Drake Library’s ongoing commitment in creating an inclusive campus space for all.
The new ground floor entrance will follow these operating hours:
- The entrance will open everyday when the library opens.
- Weekdays and Sundays: entrance closes at 7:00 p.m.
- Fridays, Saturdays, Winter Break, and Summer Break: entrance closes 30 minutes prior to the library’s posted closing time.
Note that while the new ground entrance will close earlier than the building itself, plans are underway to introduce SUNY Brockport ID card access in the future. Once implemented, card access will allow Brockport cardholders to continue using the ground floor entrance until the library closes.
