Professor Beiter joins Brockport with more than 20 years of experience in higher education, most recently serving as a Professor of Accounting and Program Director at Nazareth University. In these roles, she led undergraduate programs, advanced curriculum development, and strengthened partnerships that connect academic learning with professional practice.
Promoted to Full Professor in 2023, she is widely recognized for her student-centered teaching philosophy, integrating high-impact practices such as service learning, study abroad, and experiential learning to enhance student engagement and success.
In addition to her academic leadership, Professor Beiter brings significant professional experience, including roles as Controller at the Rochester Museum and Science Center and consultant with Deloitte & Touche. Her background as a New York State CPA and CGMA enriches her teaching with real-world insight and practical expertise.
Her work in financial literacy, curriculum innovation, and student success aligns strongly with Brockport’s mission and will further advance the School of Business and Management’s commitment to excellence.
