Dr. David Z. Jacome is a dedicated educator and accomplished professional whose career bridges both academia and the corporate world. With extensive experience as a Founder, President, Chief Executive Officer, Vice President, and Managing Director across multiple organizations, he brings a unique blend of executive leadership and academic scholarship to his work.
David began his teaching career at age 17 as a Teaching Assistant and later served as an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics and Physics at Essex County College in Newark, New Jersey. Over the past 20 years, he has taught at more than ten colleges and universities, delivering courses in Accounting, Business, Education, Engineering Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics. His academic contributions include scholarly publications, peer reviews, national conference presentations, and mentorship of emerging professionals.
At the secondary education level, David has held key leadership roles, including Science Chairperson and Teacher of Chemistry and Physics at Benedictine Academy, and Science Department Head at Hyde Leadership Charter School. He has also served as a Science Consultant and Physics Instructor at several New Jersey high schools.
Beyond the classroom, David is an Elite Professional with the Racquet Sports Professionals Association and holds a Professional in Adult Development credential with the Professional Tennis Registry. For more than 20 years, he has coached tennis for adults and youth, organizing recreational programs and community tournaments throughout Union City, New Jersey.
Currently, David serves as an Accounting Lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance at SUNY Brockport, where he continues to integrate professional rigor with a passion for student success.
Outside of his professional pursuits, David is a devoted father to his young daughter and a practicing Catholic with a deep appreciation for interfaith learning and spiritual exploration.
